Our Year 9’s had their 1st experience of attending an overnight residential. For most of them it was their 1st overnight stay away from the family home. As well as that they completed various outdoor activities. All of the students did great and we were so proud of them all. The Horstead Centre praised them on their behaviour and their engagement.

Essaouria 2025

Year 11’s overseas visit to Morocco.

Our Year 11 students recently visited a small town near Essaouira. They flew on a plane (some for the first time) and travelled nearly 4 hours to take part in exciting activities including surfing, horse riding, and quad biking, as well as exploring the vibrant Essaouira medina.

Everyone did amazingly, trying new foods and showing great resilience, even when they felt challenged. We are so pleased to have had the privilege of giving these fantastic Year 11 students the opportunity to try something new and create lifelong memories.
