David Lloyd
Chair
Advisory BoardDavid retired in 2014 from his position as the Principal of The Gateway School and Technology College in Northamptonshire. Originally based in poor accommodation, David helped to secure the funding to build a new, purpose-built school and was central to its design. The school remains an outstanding provision for 11 – 18-year-olds with social, emotional and mental health needs.
As a strategic partner of a teaching school, David led on identifying and addressing training needs and provided behaviour management training to trainee teachers within the partnership. David has also provided training in the field of behaviour management to other learners and practitioners in a range of school and University based settings. David also has an MBA in Educational Leadership.
Now residing in Leicestershire, David enjoys his Grandchildren and volunteering at the regional foodbank service, as well of course, providing support to PCT Education.
